Uncover our story

The WPGOP is a growing coalition of residents. Our priorities are restoring accountability, transparency, and common-sense leadership in our city. We believe that public service should be just that: serving the public, not insiders or special interests.

Our 2026 COMMON COUNCIL CANDIDATES

White Plains deserves leadership that lives here, works here, and understands the needs of our neighborhoods.
The White Plains Republican City Committee is proud to support two residents who are stepping up to serve our city: John Cambareri and Kathy Guglielmo.

John Cambareri

John Cambareri is a lifelong White Plains resident who has proudly called the city home for nearly 38 years. A graduate of the White Plains public schools, John lives in the Battle Hill neighborhood where he is raising his family in the home where he grew up.

He is a volunteer firefighter with Hope Engine Company, a small business owner, a proud CSEA union member, and works as a CDL mechanic maintaining school buses for the Croton-Harmon School District.

John believes White Plains needs leadership rooted in the community and focused on strong neighborhoods, public safety, and responsible decision-making at City Hall.

Kathy Guglielmo

Kathy Guglielmo has proudly called White Plains home for nearly 24 years. She raised her son through the White Plains public school system and has long been active in the community.

Kathy brings decades of experience in business, administration, and community service. She spent nearly 27 years at JPMorgan Chase as a Vice President and Corporate Meeting Manager, later owned and operated an in-home care business in White Plains, and currently works with the Archdiocese of New York’s Drug Abuse Prevention Program.

She also worked at the White Plains Public Library for five years, served as President of the White Plains Lions Club, and volunteered delivering meals to homebound seniors through Meals on Wheels.

Kathy believes residents should have a strong voice in how their city is run and is committed to helping White Plains remain a strong and vibrant community.
